Catedral

Construction of the XIII / XIII century, in Romanesque style, has been the subject of extensions and renovations throughout the time until its final alteration, in an idealized reconstruction of the medieval cathedral, already in the 20th century.

It stands out: of century XIV, of gothic style, the cloister and the Chapel of Saint John the Evangelist; the extension of the main chapel, the Chapel of the Blessed Sacrament and its altar of silver, of the seventeenth century, in Mannerist style; the frescoes of the chancel and the sacristy, by Nicolau Nasoni, as well as the tiles of the cloister by Vital Rifarto; already of century XIX, the sculpture of Teixeira Lopes (father) in the Baptismal Chapel.
